Tag Detail – What the tag represents (e.g., "Clicked a Link," "Scheduled Call").
Tag Group – The phase or segment of the customer journey the tag belongs to.
Tag Type – Whether the tag is a Button, History, or Status tag.
Recommended Tag Naming Structure
For consistency, use the following format:
Tag Group: Tag Detail

Tag Types: Do You Need to Include Them in Names?
There are two ways to incorporate Tag Types into your naming convention:
Do Nothing – Rely on the tag name to make it obvious (recommended in most cases).
Embed the Tag Type in the Name – Add the type at the end of the tag name (e.g., "Lead Nurture: Start Button").
Unless you have a specific reason to include the tag type in the name, the first option is recommended for simplicity and clarity.
